Do you want the personality and uniqueness of a custom ring, but based on your budget your only options are the more inexpensive wedding rings that anyone can buy?  First of all, there is absolutely nothing wrong with wearing wedding bands that other brides can also purchase.  Ultimately, your ring is a mere physical symbol of the love that you feel for your spouse.  An extravagant diamond encrusted ring holds just as much meaning as a simple band, but we all want our jewelry to reflect our individual personalities.  For those of you that are looking to save money but still long for a little personal flare, here are some things you can do to make your wedding ring a little more unique.

1.    Consider buying alternative metal rings.  Titanium and stainless steel make for very inexpensive wedding rings and actually offer more strength and durability.  While the rest of the world buys platinum and gold, choose a more unique material for your ring.

2.    Buy simple wedding rings with engraved patterns on the outside.  I suggest that you select flat bands for this purpose, but this is an excellent way to take inexpensive wedding rings and add beautiful detail.  Select a symbol, pattern, or even a message that is meaningful to you and your spouse.

Fun Things Happening at The Gypsy Wagon this Weekend

We cant get enough of the Wagon these days, if you cant tell. Saturdays upcoming events are just another reason why. Richard Schmidt, who handcrafts chunky silver jewelry is having a trunk show. Check out his wares online. Theyre awesome. Another Handmade Market is taking place, too. The last one included framed artwork and funky jewelry. Four new artists will be set up outside the shop this weekend. Lastly, The Feather Junkie, who creates a lot of the feathers youre seeing in peoples dos around town, will be at Gypsy Wagon, adding a little color to your locks if youre so inclined.
