Reading this story was something that broke my heart and made me smile at the same time. JonBenet Ramsey’s father John Ramsey has had a long difficult road. The man has suffered terrible tragedy in his life, his six year old daughter was murdered in his home on Christmas night back in 1996. Then to add insult to injury, both parents were at one time being looked at as the murderers, his youngest daughters death came just four years after his oldest daughter at age 22 died in a tragic car accident. His wife, Patsy Ramsey passed away in 2006 after a long struggle with ovarian cancer.
Rereading all the tragedy that this man faced, really just hurts. But finally Ramsey has been able to find some happiness, On July 21 Ramsey, 67, walked down the aisle and married 53 year old Las Vegas fashion designer, Jan Rousseaux. Ramsey gave an exclusive interview to the National Enquirer and shared: I have no doubt she will be smiling.” When talking about JonBenet who would have been 21 next month.
Ramsey met Jan, a divorced woman with two grown children, at a friend’s wedding in Denver in 2009, but they did not begin dating until last year when she texted him out of the blue to say she had been thinking about him. The two fell in love quickly and married in Michigan.
Good for them, this man has suffered enough, let’s hope the good keeps happening for him. Congrats.
